Privacy policy
HealthTechDaily ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is stored when you use healthtechdaily.in and related pages.
No accounts
We do not require sign-up. We do not operate a user account system, and we do not ask for your name, address, or payment details to read the feed.
Information stored on your device
The site stores a small amount of data in your browser so preferences persist:
- Theme preference (light, dark, or system)
- Saved stories and read/unread state
- Mobile layout mode and related reading preferences
- Weekly push notification preference (on/off), stored in your browser
- A short-lived visitor cookie used only to distinguish new visits for unread logic
Preference flags stay in your browser (localStorage / cookies). Clearing site data removes them. If you turn on weekly reminders, your browser creates a push subscription and we store that subscription endpoint on our push service so we can deliver one shared Monday reminder. We do not use that data to personalize content or build a profile.
Server and hosting
The website is primarily a static site. Hosting, CDN, and our push worker may process standard technical data (such as IP address, user agent, requested URLs, and push subscription endpoints) as part of delivering pages and notifications. We do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example page views and approximate geography). Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers as described in its privacy policy. We do not use analytics to identify you personally or to sell advertising against your browsing on this site.
Feedback survey
If you open the feedback survey from Settings, the form is provided by Tally (tally.so). Answers you submit are processed by Tally under their own privacy terms. Only submit information you are comfortable sharing.
If you email us (for example at contact@healthtechdaily.in), we will use your message and address only to respond and, if needed, to improve the service.
Third-party sites
Story links open publisher websites. Fonts may load from Google Fonts. Analytics and measurement scripts may load from Google. Those services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Children
The site is a general news aggregator and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
